In 2013, my wife and I created Madison's Run for Down Syndrome for our amazing daughter Madison. We wanted to find a way to make a difference for her and everyone with Down syndrome, even if it was just for one day. Our hope is to help move the proverbial "needle" of acceptance and awareness in the right direction. Madison is intelligent, brave, independent and always there to put a smile in our heart.
Madison's Run for Down Syndrome is our small way of giving her and those with Down syndrome a well-deserved future with the same level of respect, acceptance, resources and employment that we all enjoy.
Madison's Run for Down Syndrome is a fun and friendly family event benefiting KinderFrogs School at TCU and programs supporting Down syndrome. This run's goal is to increase Down syndrome awareness and acceptance in the community. You can run, walk, stroll, fly (almost fly) and invites runners and walkers of all ages and levels to come out and experience a fun filled 5K/1K along with a bounce house, face-painting, music and more! This run is a great way to bring the community together to run side by side to achieve this future, even if it's just for one day.
To Improve the lives of individuals with Down Syndrome.
